Checking my website stats is a little like Googling myself….only this is legit business work – or so I tell myself. My hits always spike the day after a wedding when all my awesome brides and grooms’ family and friends check out their images.
There are also some cool surprises and I have to creep on just where my visitors are coming from. One is a blog titled Champagne and Lace: A Two Bride Wedding. I love that this couple are writing about the planning and hurdles of their upcoming wedding. The link came from a photo of one of my beautiful brides from earlier this year. Jessica Wilkinson is a maid of honour for one of the brides. I love the photo that they used of her. It’s my favourite!
Posting a blog on your wedding is a great way to get friends and family excited about your special day. It’s tons of fun and makes for great memories long after the day is over.
I will be following this couple for sure….

I’ve always offered books as part of my wedding collections. If you are a 2010 or 2011 Loree Photography bride (or groom) listen up…..you will receive up to $120 off this offer. I am offering 15% off a Flush Mount Album for you!
For 2012 I will be including Flush Mount Albums as part of my a la carte selection. This is an art piece that you will enjoy years from your wedding day. It’s where your children and grandchildren will turn the pages a million times talking about your special day. It’s artwork you will bring to the office, gaze at as you enjoy days at home and showcase to visitors.
I just received my album that includes all of my 2011 wedding couples. It’s a 12×12 album (the largest in the collection) and it weighs close to 10 pounds( fo’ real). This gives you an idea of the exquisite design and quality of the investment. You can choose from premium leather, fabric or a custom photo as your cover (shown below is the custom cover). Each page is adhered to heavy, black cardstock and is incredible to feel and turn. You will not find anything to compare to this kind of quality and look.
I’ve always believed that your wedding images should be showcased to your friends and family. Even though you receive a disc with each of my collections, the photographs are meant to be hung on walls, printed on high quality photographic paper and published in albums….not just shown online or seen through your computer screen.
These albums will create memories.
The Flush Mount Albums are available at a 10% discount when paid for in full two weeks before a wedding. Regular price applies after. They make great wedding gifts (bridal parties…..this is a great group gift!), Christmas presents from parents after the big day or for couples to purchase for themselves.

Megan Oleksyn owns her own communications company….Southpaw Communications. I met her through the cattle industry a few years ago and immediately was drawn to her. She is such an awesome person and it was so great to spend time with her away from bull sales (where we usually see each other). What I came away with today is that this is a lady on the move. She has this incredible business she built from the ground up and it’s grown in leaps and bounds since she started it. Trust me, if you are looking for anything in the way of PR, communications, marketing, website design, keynote speakers, etc…..this is the person you should be contacting.
Also, she had the most amazing jacket that was custom fit for her by the designer. Jealous!

The Loree Photography image is something that I’ve been working on for the last year. I wanted to have it done before Jane came, but naps won me over every spare moment I had while pregnant. After Jane came, I was busy trying to figure out the mom thing…then came wedding season, family photo season…you get the point. Branding my company was something I had to do in-between the photography.
I’m a big believer in packaging and having my clients enjoy the moment their images arrive. The Loree Photography experience should extend far beyond the session and disk of images. I want them to receive something in the mail that makes them excited the moment they see the return address.
I’ve finally finished the foundation of my branding and can’t wait for the remaining pieces to arrive. My website/blog will be relaunched the winter with the same new look. I’m excited because I feel that I’ve finally found my place with photography and with the type of clients I attract. If you are waiting on a package….yours could very well be in this photo!

Carol and her family were my last session of the day in Okotoks. We went from hot weather in the morning to a session at the end where sweaters needed to be worn.
It was so great to finally meet Amanda, Jake and Jeff. I’ve known Carol through the cattle industry but hadn’t had the opportunity to meet the rest of her family. They are such a great group of people and I really enjoyed my time with them!

Amber was one of the first brides to book her 2012 wedding with me. So, I was pretty excited to finally meet her and her fiancée Terence during my Okotoks mini sessions. We shot in the beautiful morning light.
This is a pretty cool couple. They have a huge wedding planned in Stavely with all of their friends and family expected. Small town shindigs are always the best! It will be nearly a year before you get to see their wedding photos – but enjoy a snapshot of their engagement photographs!
